With our Walking Challenge, we want to inspire as many people as possible to get out and walk. You can join by choosing from different distance options and we even have a special Kids Walking Challenge!
In 2026, we had multiple opportunities to participate in the Walking Challenge.

Kids Challenge: flexible distance over 20 weeks
With your Pin-collector, you’ll receive a free Walking Passport. That is a paper document where you can record all your distances.
Once you’ve completed your challenge, you can claim your matching Walking Challenge Pin in our webshop:
After 20 weeks × 25 km, order the 20×25 Pin
After 40 weeks × 25 km, order the 40×25 Pin
After 25 weeks × 20 km, order the 25×20 Pin
For the Kids Challenge, the accompanying adult can order the Kids Pin after 20 weeks
Each pin is a unique reward for your walking achievement!
In 2026, your challenge is:
👉 20 × 25 = 20 weeks of walking 25 kilometers per week
You can spread the 20 weeks over all 52 weeks of the year,
and divide your kilometers across the 7 days of the week.
Record all your walks in your Walking Passport.
Once you’ve completed your 20 × 25 Walking Challenge, you can order your earned Walking Challenge Pin via our website.
The 20 × 25 Walking Pin will be available from Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
Registration for the Walking Challenge 2026 opens on Monday, November 24, 2025
After that, your 2026 Walking Challenge is complete and you can start looking forward to 2027!
In 2026, your challenge is:
👉 40 × 25 = 20 weeks of walking 25 kilometers per week
You can spread the 40 weeks over all 52 weeks of the year,
and divide your kilometers across the 7 days of the week.
Record all your walks in your Walking Passport.
After completing your 20 × 25 Walking Challenge, you can order your earned 20 × 25 Walking Challenge Pin through our website.
After completing your 40 × 25 Walking Challenge, you can order your 40 × 25 Walking Challenge Pin as well.
The 20 × 25 Walking Pin will be available from Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
The 40 × 25 Walking Pin will be available from Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

After that, your 2026 Walking Challenge is complete and you can start looking forward to 2027!
The distance is determined in advance by the parents, guardians, or supervisors,
since a 5-year-old will naturally walk a different distance than a 12-year-old.
It’s designed as a motivator, so the distance can be filled in freely.
The participant walks the chosen distance during 20 weeks in 2026.
You can spread those weeks across all 52 weeks of the year,
and divide the kilometers over the 7 days of the week.
All walks are recorded in the Walking Passport.
Once the Kids Walking Challenge is completed, the supervisor can order the earned Kids Walking Challenge Pin via our website.
The pin will be available from Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
